The perfect mirror.

How do you know if a mirror is a “good” mirror? Some mirrors are created differently to make you look slimmer or “bigger”. I saw in an article once that fitting rooms use mirrors to make you look taller or slimmer just so you like the clothes more and buy them. They use those tricks to make you spend more money on their stores, and that is wrong. We have been conditioned to think slimmer and taller is always better. Mirrors deceive you all the time because of that unconscious wish of looking model-like.

Here is the answer to distinguishing a bad and a good mirror:

Step one. Stand in front of the mirror. At a distance where you can see the body part you want to see. Maybe all of your body at once.

Step two. Really look into it. Don’t just glance at it.

Step three. If you don’t like what you see, you found a badly done one. A “destroyable” mirror.

That’s it! You are beautify, and the only concern you should have regarding your body, is to keep it healthy so it can keep working longer, feel better, and have less visits to the doctor in the future. Eat veggies, fruits and exercise. That’s all there is to it, and I’m not even telling you not to eat junk food, because I do it everyday. I just ask you to care for you and have a balance. You had tacos for dinner yesterday? Well, today you can get a tuna sandwich or some melon for dessert. Maybe even throw some squats before bedtime. Or walk your dog! (Will be really appreciated with a tired puppy face afterwards).

Once you’ve done that, you’ll feel better, care less about what others think, and will certainly care less about looking into a mirror.
